I began Photography work when I was young and my uncle showed me the photos he was developing in his basement. By high school my friend Tim and I did all the photos for the year book.  My first house I created a darkroom in my basement.  At William James College I took formal classes from Robert Burns. He had photos published in Life Magazine as well as many other great photo magazines. He taught me so much about how to take a picture that will look appeasing to the eye.  My works have been seen at Artprize see https://www.artprize.org/steven-tharp.  I think a lot about Photography being a a combination of both Art and  Science. Many people know a lot about one or the other of these , I try to contribute both to my photos.
